Vintage MCM Abstract Oil Painting Mid Century Modern Art Signed Zeilman 60s

ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale an incredible vintage abstract oil painting done on stretched canvas by artist, J. Zeilman. Circa '60s. Titled: "Cityscape". Colors: Red, Blue, Black and Yellow. The painting is framed in a thin edge black colored wooden frame. While not signed on the front, it is on the reverse side of the canvas (see photos). It's simply a great piece of art that'll look nice in any modern interior setting.

MEASUREMENTS: Including the wooden frame, approx. 31" wide x 19" tall.

CONDITION: Good condition. There is one small repair to the canvas on the right side about mid-way up between the black and yellow square shapes. It's about the size of a pea (see photos). The artist may have made the repair themselves, as it was very carefully done - it's barely visible at all from the front, and you really have to be looking for it to notice that it is even there. Aside from that, it's in fine shape. The frame shows light traces of wear (minor scratches and color loss) that are consistent with age and handling, but it is structurally intact and still displays very well for its age.
