ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage floor lamp / magazine rack combo manufactured by Laurel Lighting. Circa '60s. The lamp is constructed of walnut wood, as is the magazine rack. The rack can be removed from the base by simply taking it out from the top. The lamp has a standard on/off rotary knob switch that is located at the socket. No labels or manufacturer's marks present that we can see. No shade present as well - that'll be left up to the purchaser to provide on their own. It's a great lamp that'll look wonderful in any modern interior setting.
MEASUREMENTS: The lamp stands approx. 44" tall (measured from the ground surface to the top of the light socket x 17.75" wide (table width) x 17.75" deep (table depth). The table sits approx. 20.75" high off the ground. The walnut magazine holder is approx. 10.25" deep x 3.25" wide x 14" long.
CONDITION: Good vintage condition. There are a few darkened spots and light scratches along the table top surface (see photos) - they aren't terribly bad, and in our opinion, don't really affect the display of the lamp. They can easily be sanded out and the areas stained to get ride of them. They didn't bother us at all, so we just left it in the condition in which it was acquired. This is solely being mentioned for accuracy. Aside from that, there are no real condition issues that need to be addressed - there are no breaks, repairs, etc. The electrical wiring appears to be original to the lamp, and it is in good shape with no frays, splits, exposed or brittle areas. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working order. As with all vintage lighting, we always recommend having a licensed professional inspect the item prior to long-term use. Being sold "as-is" - if you have questions, please ask them prior to purchasing, and we will get back in touch with you.
