ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage abstract oil painting done on stretched canvas by artist, Thomas Linton. Circa '60s (1963). Titled: "No. 3". Colors: Multi-color. The painting is encased in a simple thin edge wood surround frame. There is a tag alongside the back that has information on this piece from when it was entered into an exhibit at The Institute of Contemporary Art in Boston, Mass. While the painting is not signed on the front, the reverse side of the canvas shows the artist's name and the date this piece was created (see photos).
MEASUREMENTS: Including the thin edge wood surround frame, approx. 20.5" wide x 15.75" tall.
CONDITION: Good vintage condition. The canvas is free from rips, holes, tears, punctures, repairs, etc. The paint iself shows craquelure throughout from age (see photos), but everything is completely stable - there are no areas where the paint is chipping off or missing from the canvas (again, see photos). It displays nicely and is ready to be enjoyed in a new home. Being sold "as-is", "as-described". Please review all of the accompanying photos as together with the description, they constitute the item's condition.
