ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage adjustable dual fiberglass shade desk lamp. Circa '60s. The base is constructed of metal and wood. The fiberglass shades are beige in color, and they rotate in all directions at their attachment points. The lamp has a standard on/off rotary knob switch that is located on the round metal base, and it provides the lamp with three-way functionality: either or the other of the shades can be lit independently on the other, or both can be set to light up at the same time. We are uncertain as to the maker / manufacturer - there are no labels or tabs present.
NOTE: We used two slightly different colored bulbs in each of the sockets, hence the slight difference in color seen in the photos. This was just done to show that everything works - they emit the same light based on using two similar bulbs.
MEASUREMENTS: With the shades positioned in the downward position, the lamp stands approx. 21.75" tall x 19" wide x 7.5" deep. The shades each measure approx. 7" tall x 7.5" in diameter (measured across the opening at the bottom). The round chrome metal base at the bottom of the lamp measures approx. 6" in diameter.
CONDITION: Overall the lamp is in good condition for its age. There is some mild tarnishing / discoloration on the round metal base (see photos). Nothing major, but being mentioned for accuracy. Aside from that, the lamp is free from chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. The shades are in great shape - no burns breaks, repairs, etc. - they're very clean and present themselves nicely. They adjust properly at their pivot points, and hold their positions well. The electrical wiring looks to be original, and is free from having any issues. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working order. It is being sold "as-is", and "as-described" - if you have questions, we do encourage you to ask them before purchasing as all sales are final. Please shop with confidence.
