Vintage 60s MODELINE Table Lamp Wood Cloth Shade Mid Century MCM Modern Lighting

ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a beautiful vintage MODELINE table lamp. Circa '60s. The base is wood and brass, while the two component shade has an inner hard fiberglass portion, and an other woven portion (see photos). The fiberglass cylinder rests inside a cup by the socket, and at the top it is held in place by three wires which are attached to the outer woven portion of the shade - they just insert at the top of the cylinder (again, see photos). The woven portion of the shade is some sort of textile material, and is beige in color with gold filament scattered throughout. The lamp operates using a pull chain switch which is located at the socket. The lamp still a good portion of its original Modeline label at the socket (see photos). It's truly an exquisite lamp that will become the focal point of any room!

MEASUREMENTS: With the shade attached, the lamp stands approx. 42.75" tall x 12" wide x 12" deep. The distance from the bottom of the round wood base to the light socket is approx. 26.25" in height. The removable inner beige fiberglass cylinder portion of the shade measures approx. 15" tall x 3" in diameter. The outer woven portion of the shade measures approx. 20" tall x 12" in diameter. The bottom of the round wooden base of the lamp is approx. 7.5" in diameter.

CONDITION: Overall the lamp is in very good condition for its age. The wood portion of the base is free from chips, cracks, scratches, breaks, repairs, etc. We have not attempted to clean or polish it in any manner - what you see in the photos is what you get. The inner fiberglass cylinder portion of the shade is free from chips, cracks, breaks, burns, discolorations, repairs, etc. Again, it hasn't been cleaned in any manner, as it presents itself nicely in its current state. The woven portion of the shade has a small amount of perimeter adhesive material missing which causes the woven portion of the shade to buckle every so slightly (see photos). This can easily be replaced - we're solely mentioning it for accuracy. Also, it's towards the back side of the shade, so it isn't really visible from the front. The electrical wiring looks to be original, and is free from having any issues - no frays, splits, exposed or brittle areas. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working order.
