Vintage MCM Iron Fireplace Log Holder Atomic Era Mid Century Modern 50s Tepper

ITEM(S): For your consideration we are presenting for sale an atomic era fire log holder. Circa '50s. We couldn't find much information other than it seems to be attributed to Gene Tepper for Smith, Tepper and Sundberg. In addition to holding logs, it can be used for magazines or newspapers. Colors: Black, Gold. Materials: Iron, Metal Mesh, Brass. Each of the splayed legs ends in an atomic ball (see photos). No signatures or manufacturer's marks detected.
MEASUREMENTS: Approx. 20.5" wide x 16.5" deep x 16.5" tall.
CONDITION: Very good, all-original vintage condition - no breaks, bends, repairs, rust, oxidation, etc. Minor color loss, but nothing that we'd deem objectionable. The brass handles on either side have not been clean or polished - they have a nice patina from age. Displays well, and functions as intended. Being sold "as-is, as-described".
