ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage multi-color ceramic tile composition wall hanging designed by Harris Strong. Circa '60s. This item features six (6) ceramic tiles that when viewed next to each other, form a large image of a procession of abstract people carrying flags (see photos). The tiles are set within aluminum edge rails, and the entire piece is mounted onto a dark walnut wood board (again, please see photos). The original label is gone from the back, but research shows that it is definitely a work done by Harris Strong. There is a wire hanging mechanism on the back for display purposes. It's suitable for all interior settings, and is ready to be enjoyed.
MEASUREMENTS: Approx. 36.5" wide x 11.25" tall. Each of the six (6) ceramic tiles that make up the whole image measures approx. 6" x 6".
CONDITION: Very good condition. The ceramic tiles are free from chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. There is one small, tight hairline separation on the wood (see photos) - it does not affect anything whatsoever in terms of stability, appearance, etc. - we're just mentioning it to be accurate. Displays very well, and is ready for a new home. It is being sold "as-is", and "as-described" - if you have questions, we do encourage you to ask them before purchasing as all sales are final.
