Vintage Heifetz Lamps Carved Wood Russian Cossack Dancers Mid Century Lighting Deco

ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a set of vintage carved wood table lamps manufactured by HEIFETZ. Circa '50s. Theme: Male and Female Russian Cossack Dancers. They have a very deco / cubist vibe. Each lamp is signed with the Heifetz signature carved into the back of the base (see photos). There are no shades present - it will be left up to the purchaser to provide their own shades.

MEASUREMENTS: The male lamp stands approx. 22" tall (measured from the bottom of the base to the top of the finial) x 9" wide (measured at the base) x 4.5" deep. The distance from the bottom of the lamp to the light socket is approx. 17.5" high. The figure itself measures approx. 10" tall x 7.5" wide. The female lamp stands approx. 23" tall (measured from the bottom of the base to the top of the finial) x 8" wide (base) x 4.5" deep (base). The distance to the light socket from the bottom of the base on the female lamp is approx 18" high. The female figure measures approx. 10.25" tall x 5.5" wide.

CONDITION: Both lamps are in very good cosmetic condition with no issues to report - no chips, cracks, breaks, etc. One lamp has an old cloth electrical word, while the other looks to have been updated at one point during its life. The cloth wiring has a little fraying to the outside material, but nothing drastic. Each lamp also has a different on/off switch - the male lamp is a rotary knob, and the female is a toggle switch. Both lamps are in fully functioning, working order. As with all vintage lighting, we always strongly recommend having a licensed electrician inspect the wiring prior to long-term use.
