Vintage MCM 1950s Ceramic Brass Atomic Era Lamps Mid Century Modern Lighting

ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a pair of vintage ceramic table lamps. Circa '50s. Materials: Ceramic, Brass, Wire, Metal, Plastic. We are uncertain as to the maker / manufacturer as there are no labels or tags present. There are no shades present - it will be left up to the purchaser to provide their own shades.

MEASUREMENTS: Each lamp stand approx. 24.5" tall (measured from the bottom of the base to the top of the finial). The distance from the bottom of the base to the light socket is approx. 18.5" high. The plastic conical cone just below the socket is approx. 6" long. The ceramic orb is approx. 3.5" tall x 6.5" wide x 6.5" deep. Each of the six curvy brass accent pieces is approx. 4" tall. The bottom of the brass base at the bottom of each lamp is approx. 6" in diameter.

CONDITION: Both lamps are in good condition given their age. They show some signs of cosmetic wear which we'll mention here. First off, the plastic conical cones just beneath the light sockets show color loss (see photos) - they can easily be touched up, or left alone. Next, the metal curvy accent pieces show some signs of tarnishing the come with age - we haven't done anything in an attempt to polish or clean them - they are being presented in the same condition in which the lamps were acquired. The ceramic portions of the bases could use a gentle cleaning, but otherwise display well with no issues - no chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. The round brass metal bases at the very bottom of each lamp shows signs of scattered tarnishing. Again, we haven't done anything in a way to clean or polish them up. The electrical wiring is in good condition on both lamps - no frays, splits, exposed or brittle wires. One lamp may have had the wiring updated at one point in time as the cords and plug tips are slightly different (see photos). The lamps are in fully-functioning, working condition. As with all vintage lighting, we always strongly recommend having a licensed electrician inspect the wiring prior to long-term use. This lamp is being sold "as-is", and "as-described" - if you have questions, we do encourage you to ask them before purchasing, and we will respond back to you in a timely manner.
