ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale an original vintage table lamp designed by Bill Curry for Design Line, Inc. of El Segundo, CA. Circa '60s. The base is constructed of a black colored iron, and just above that is a black colored metal neck. The glass sphere shade rests inside the metal neck on three small metal brackets. The lamp has sixteen (16) white enameled metal rods that are displayed on the inside of the glass shade, and they can be arranged in countless ways simply by gently moving the shade. The lamp has an orange colored plastic on/off rotary switch located on the exterior of the base. The lamp still retains an original Design Line, Inc. label on the inside of the base where the shade rests, as well as an Underwriter Laboratories, Inc. sticker label (see photos). It's a great lamp suitable for all interior settings.
MEASUREMENTS: The lamp measures approx. 16.5" tall x 9" in diameter. The sixteen (16) inserted white enameled metal rods are each approx. 9.5" long. The black metal base alone measures approx. 7.5" tall x 5" wide.
CONDITION: The lamp is in very good, all-original condition. The base is free from dents, dings, breaks, scratches, repairs, etc. The glass shade is in excellent shape - no chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. The metal rods are all in excellent shape as well. The wiring is appears to be original, and should be inspected by a licensed electrician prior to long-term use.
