Vintage MCM 1950s Black Wood Metal Lamp Mid Century Modern Lighting Boomerang Atomic Era

ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage atomic era table lamp. Circa '50s. Colors: Black, Gold. The lamp consists of two reverse wooden boomerang shapes that are painted black, which when viewed together, for a letter X. The round base at the bottom of the lamp is metal, and is black in color. The lamp has a standard on/off toggle switch that is located at the socket for functionality. There are no labels / tags present. There is also no shade present - it'll be left up to the purchaser to provide their own.

MEASUREMENTS: The lamp stands approx. 20.25" tall (measured from the bottom of the base to the light socket) x 5.25" wide x 5.5" deep (measured at the round base). Each of the black lacquered pieces that form the X-shape measure 7.75" tall x 5.25" wide. The round black metal base at the bottom of the lamp measures approx. 5.5" in diameter.

CONDITION: Overall the lamp is in very good condition for its age - there are no breaks, bends, repairs, etc. There is some minimal black paint loss, mainly in a few spots along the edges of the black accent pieces, and a little on the base.... nothing major whatsoever, but being mentioned for accuracy (see photos please). The wiring looks to be original, and is in very good shape - there are no frays, splits, exposed or brittle areas. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working order.
