$575.00
ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a fairly large and heavy starburst design plaster lamp. Circa '60s. Colors: Black, Green. Materials: Plaster. This lamp has some weight to it (17.l1 lbs) - it would considerably lighter if it was chalkware. The starburst designs are etched into the surface (see photos). We are uncertain as to the maker - there are no labels or tags present. There is also no shade present - it'll be left up to the purchaser to provide their own shade.
MEASUREMENTS: The lamp stands approx. 31" tall ( measured from the bottom of the base to the light socket). The plaster starburst design portion of the lamp measures approx. 24" tall x 10" wide x 10" deep. The round base at the very bottom of the lamp measures approx. 8.25" in diameter. Weight - 17.11 pounds.
CONDITION: Overall the lamp is in very good condition - there are no cracks, breaks, chips, repairs, etc. There are a few areas on the base where there is some orange coloration. It does not look like damage / scuff marks from something orange rubbing up against the base, nor does it look like the lamp was repainted; we feel this was intentional in the design (see photos). The electrical wiring is in decent condition, and appears to be original to the lamp. The only downside is the length of the cord; it is relatively short - we suggest having it professionally rewired to gain some length. As with all vintage lighting, we always strongly recommend having a licensed electrician inspect the wiring prior to long-term use. This lamp is being sold "as-is", and "as-described" - if you have questions, we do encourage you to ask them before purchasing, and we will respond back to you in a timely manner. All sales are final. Please bid with confidence.
