ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a tall vintage asian-inspired table lamp. Circa '50s / '60s. The base is composed of a reeded material, and there are three black metal (iron) accents in which the reeded material is nestled inside. The round base at the very bottom of the lamp is brass. There is a tall cylindrical shade was is constructed of a textured cardboard material, and it is beige in color. The lamp has a standard on/off rotary knob switch that is located at the socket. We are uncertain as to the manufacturer - there are no labels or tags present.
MEASUREMENTS: With the shade attached, the lamp stands approx. 35" tall. The distance from the bottom of the base to the light socket is approx. 22" high. The reeded cylinder of the base is approx. 10.5" tall x 5.5" in diameter. The round brass base at the bottom of the lamp is approx. 6" in diameter. The textured shade measures approx. 22.5" tall x 9" in diameter.
CONDITION: The lamp is in good condition. There is some tarnishing to the brass metal base - we have not attempted to clean or polish it in any manner (see photos). The reeded material has no issues that we can report. The shade is in good shape - there is one small dent towards the bottom (see photo) - it can probably be finessed out or just turn it to the back so it isn't visible. There are also a few very faint scattered marks on the shade - nothing bad, but being mentioned for accuracy. There are no issues with the electrical wiring of the lamp and it looks to be original. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working order As with all vintage lighting, we always strongly recommend having a licensed professional inspect the wiring prior to long-term use. Being sold "as-is" - if you have questions, we do encourage you to ask them before purchasing as all sales are final. Please bid with confidence.
