Vintage MCM Atomic Black Wire Metal Floor Lamp Mid Century Modern Lighting 50s

ITEM: For your consideration we are presenting for a vintage atomic era floor lamp. Circa '50s. Materials: Metal, Brass, Wire. Colors: Black, Gold. The lamp features eight (8) black metal rods of equal length that are attached in an angled fashion such that as you progress down the lamp, they get closer to the central brass tubing (see photos). The lamp comes with the milk glass diffuser shade that you see pictured. We are uncertain as to the maker of the lamp - there are no labels or tags present.

MEASUREMENTS: The lamp stands approx. 55" tall (measured from the bottom of the base to the top of the milk glass diffuser shade). The round brass metal base at the bottom of the lamp is approx. 10" in diameter. Each of the eight (8) black wire accent pieces is approx. 15.75" long.

CONDITION: Good vintage condition. There are no breaks, bends dents, dings, repairs, etc. The round brass metal base at the bottom of the lamp has uniform tarnishing throughout (see photos). We feel it adds to the story of the lamp, but can easily be painted over if you don't like it - we have not attempted to clean / polish the lamp in any manner. Aside from that, there is some minor paint loss to the black wire rods - nothing objectionable, just consistent with age. The electrical wiring is in nice shape, and the lamp is in fully-functioning, working condition. As with all vintage lighting, we always recommend having a licensed professional inspect before long-term use. Being sold "as-is", and "as-described".
