RESERVED FOR TORY......Vintage 70s Don Freedman Woven Jute Cotton Wood Wall Hanging Tapestry Retro Mid Century Modern

Item: For sale we are presenting a vintage abstract jute wall hanging tapestry by Don Freedman c/o Tree Time, Inc. - Interlude. Hangs from a wooden bar that it is attached to. It has the artist's copyright symbol attached in the upper right-hand corner (see photos), as well as the original labels on the reverse side. Materials: Jute, Wood and Cotton. The label on the back looks like it read 1976, and then it was altered to read 1978 (see photo) - not sure why that is, but it is the case.

Measurements: Approx. 51" wide x 43" tall.

Condition: Good vintage condition. The tips of the fibers have some age, and there is a slight stiffness to them. We're not sure of the history of the piece insofar as it's previous owner(s) go, but we think perhaps it was hanging somewhere where it may have been exposed to the sun. It is definitely a bit dusty, and could certainly benefit from a professional cleaning - we'll leave that up to the purchaser to handle. Otherwise, no rips, tears, stains, repairs, etc. Displays nicely.
