Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage ceramic table lamp that dates back to the 50s / 60s. The lamp features a series of overlapping abstract instruments on the front (see photos), and they are set against a beige background with slightly raised white paint splatter that is randomly scattered throughout. The top portion of the round base is wood, while the bottom is brass. The neck of the lamp just below the socket is also the same type of wood. No shade or bulb included in the sale - the listing is for the lamp base only.
Measurements: Approx. 33" tall (from the bottom of the base to the finial). Approx. 26.5" from the bottom of the base to the light socket. The ceramic portion of the lamp is approx. 17" tall x 6" wide (at its widest point). The round base at the bottom of the lamp measures approx. 6" in diameter.
Condition: Very good vintage condition - no chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. It could benefit from a gentle cleaning and/or polishing, which we'll leave up to the winning bidder to handle. The electrical wiring appears to be original to the lamp, and it's in great shape - no frays, splits, exposed wires, etc. As with all vintage lighting, we strongly recommend having the wiring check by a licensed professional prior to long-term use. It's ready for a new home.
