RESERVED FOR BETH - Vintage 50s 60s Yellow White Metal Table Lamp Retro Mid Century Modern Space Age

Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale an ultra cool vintage space age table lamp that dates back to the 50s / 60s. While unmarked, we believe this lamp was manufactured by Rembrandt. The base is constructed entirely of metal, and is painted white with yellow highlights. The cube base at the bottom is yellow in color. The finial at the top is an off-white plastic orb. The lamp has an on/off toggle switch located at the socket. The shade is made of a cardboard like material, and is beige in color.

Measurements: With the shade attached, the lamp stands approx. 23.5" tall (measured from the bottom of the base to the finial). The distance from the bottom of the base to the light socket is approx. 17" high. The shade is approx. 7.25" tall x 11" in diameter. The yellow metal cube base measures approx. 3.5" x 3.5" x 3.5". The decorative space age floral decorative element is approx. 9" tall.

Condition: Good condition. Has paint chips here and there on the metal base. Still displays fine, but we'd probably touch it up or repaint it if we were going to keep it. There are no dents, dings, repairs, etc. The shade shows general signs of light wear consistent with age, and there is a small moisture mark on the back side of the shade at the bottom where the seam is (see photo). It's on the back side of the shade, and it is small, so it doesn't really detract and isn't really seen - just being mentioned for accuracy. Again, if we were going to keep the lamp, we'd probably find another shade to use. We aren't even certain if this was the original shade to the lamp. The electrical wiring is original to the lamp, and it is in good shape - no frays, splits, exposed or brittle wires. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working condition. As with all vintage lighting, we'd recommend having a licensed professional have a look at it prior to long-term use.
