Rare Vintage 60s WITCO Brutalist Metal Wood Lamp Mid Century Modern Retro Lighting Sixties

Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale an incredible vintage WITCO brutalist table lamp. Circa '60s. This lamp is LARGE and HEAVY! Base is constructed of wood and steel. Features elongated brutalist oval shapes in varying sizes emerging from a larger cylindrical column. The lamp still features its original WITCO label on the reverse side of the base - Witco, Inc. Mount Vernon, Washington E35730 (see photo).

Measurements: Measures approx. 29.25" tall. The squared wooden base measures approx. 10" wide x 9.5" deep x 4" tall. The round wooden top just above the columnar metal portion of the base measures approximately 6.5" in diameter x 1.5" thick.

Condition: Given its age, we'd say the lamp is in very good condition. There are some minor imperfections to the wood components - some scratches, light paint marks, etc. The wood components have not been cleaned at all - they lamp is just how we acquired it. It should be able to clean up quite nicely. The metal components show some dust. The lamp needs a new plug tip, but the rest of the wiring looks fine and is original to the lamp.
