Vintage 60s Tanglao Cool Cat Velvet Painting Mid Century Modern Wall Hanging As-Is

Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a rare vintage cool cat wearing sunglasses velvet painting wall hanging. Circa '60s. Signed and dated in the lower left-hand corner: Tanglao, '69. Framed and mounted onto a wooden backboard. Needs a new wire hanging mechanism affixed to the back side of the frame - an easy and inexpensive fix that we'll leave up to the winning bidder.

NOTE: We have another cat painting by the same artist that we'll be listing separately.

Measurements: Including the frame, approx. 28.5" tall x 23.5" wide.

Condition: Ok vintage condition. There is wear to the paint surrounding the cat (see photos). We are not 100% certain, but we think this may have been rescued from a fire. Upon inspecting it, there is an odor of smoke. We're not sure how or if it can be gotten rid of, but it is there. It can probably be restored to its former glory by someone who knows what they are doing in that territory. It still displays fine as it is. We thought it was just too good to pass up, and are hoping someone can breath some life back into it.
