Pair Vintage 50s 60s Ceramic Chalkware Lamps Mid Century Modern Retro Lighting

Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a sweet pair of vintage ceramic / chalkware table lamps. Circa '50s / '60s. Manufacturer unknown. The ceramic portions of the lamps are tan, brown and beige. They are mounted onto round metal bases that are brown, and each base has the original protective felt still affixed to the bottom. The paint is applied to the ceramic portion in a paint-splatter manner, and the body of the lamps both have recessed diamond-shaped patterns all the way around. No shades present - those will be left up to the winning purchaser to provide.

Measurements: Approx. 38" tall (from the bottom of the base to the finial). Approx. 27.5" tall (from the bottom of the base to the light socket). The diameter of the round metal base measures approx. 6.5" in diameter. The ceramic portion of the base measures approx. 22.75" tall x 6.5" wide (at its widest point).

Condition: All in all, both lamps are in very good condition for their age. One lamp has a small flake to the finish towards the back side (see photo) - it doesn't 't really detract, but we wanted to mention it for accuracy. Otherwise, they could both use a gentle cleaning. There are no chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. Both display well and function as they should. Both lamps still retain their original Levitton light sockets. The electrical wiring is in good shape - no frays, splits, exposed or brittle or damaged wires. As with all vintage lighting, we always recommend having a licensed professional check the wiring prior to long-term use, just to be safe. It's ready for a new home!
