Vintage Don Freedman Fiber Art Wall Hanging Tapestry Mid Century Modern Textile Art
Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a wonderful fiber art wall hanging tapestry by Don Freedman (made in India for Interlude, Inc., Newark, NJ). Materials: Jute, wool and cotton. Unmarked, but definitely a Don Freedman design. There is a large loop of jute material on the back side for hanging.
Measurements: Approx. 39" (from top to bottom) x 28" across (from side to side).
Condition: Good vintage condition. There are no rips, holes, tears, stains. repairs, etc. This fiber art piece has not been cleaned, and it appears to be a little bit dusty. We'd recommend having it professionally cleaned. This was purchased from a home where it was hanging with sunlight shining on it. As such, the fibers have become a little coarse with time - this is very common with these pieces. Either way, when hanging on a wall, you don't notice it all - we're solely mentioning it to be transparent. There is also a slight color shift in some of the material.... most likely from sun. We will gladly "reserve" or "hold" an item, but it will require a 25% non-refundable down payment. Balance due will be spread out over installment payments, one being due two weeks after the initial down-payment, and the final payment (which will include the listed shipping expenses) will be due two weeks after that.
