Whimsical Vintage Chalkware Shark Fish Coin Bank Piggy Bank Jaws 70s 80s

Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a fun vintage chalkware shark bank / piggy bank for coins. Circa '70s / '80s. The plastic cap atop the shark's head has an audio chip in it that plays something when the coins pass by it, but we're not sure what that something is. At first we thought the bank was tied in with Jaws character, and perhaps it played part of the theme music from the film. It may, but in its current state, the audio is not discernible.

Measurements: Approx. 8" tall x 9" deep (measured from the nose to the bottom tail fin). The rounded base at the bottom measures approx. 5.25" in diameter.

Condition: Good vintage condition - no chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. There is a small amount of tape residue visible on the side of the shark's head. We did not attempt to remove it, but it should come off easily with some warm water. In the plastic cap atop the shark's head, there is an embedded audio device such that when the coin passes it, it plays something. What it plays is a bit distorted - we thought perhaps it was the theme to Jaws, but we're not certain. Perhaps it can be fixed such that the audio is more discernible - we aren't sure though.
