Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale an amazing vintage modernist harlequin playing a piccolo wall hanging. Circa '50s. The harlequin appears to be constructed out of a heavy chalkware or plaster-like material, and it is affixed to the wood backboard. Colors: Green, Yellow. The piece is marked in two separate places: it reads J. Segura by the underside of one of the feet (see photo), and also reads Copyright 1957 H.G. towards the top by the head (again, see photo).
Measurements: Approx. 36" tall x 15" wide x 3" deep (maximum depth - see photos).
Condition: Very good condition - the figure is free from chips, cracks, breaks, repairs, etc. The wood back board shows two small imperfections in the bottom corners (see photos) - they are really negligent, and don't interfere with the display of the piece, but we are mentioning them for accuracy - please see photos. There is a jagged metal sawtooth hanging mechanism attached to the back side -it's ready for display!
