Pair Vintage 1960s Sad Big Eye Dog Puppy Ceramic Mid Century Kitsch Figurines

Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a cute pair of vintage sad eye / big eye dog or puppy figurines. Circa '60s. They both appear to be hand-painted - one being lighter in color than the other (see photos). No signatures or manufacturer's marks found.

Measurements: Each measures approx. 6.25" tall x 4" wide (at its maximum width) x 3" deep (at its maximum depth).

Condition: Both are in good condition. The lighter of the two dogs has some small imperfections that appear to have occurred when it was made. There is a very small uncolored spot by the edge near the dog's foot - it has glaze over it, just no color. Also, there is a small shallow round hole by the other foot on the underside of the base that appears to have happened during manufacturing - it is not a break (see photos). Otherwise, both just show a few small spots of color loss here and there - nothing major whatsoever, but being mentioned for accuracy (please see photos).
