Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale an amazing vintage barkcloth curtain panel. Circa '50s / '60s. The materials has a slight texture throughout, and we'd say it's a medium weight material. Colors: Browns, Beige, Black. We are uncertain as to the manufacturer of this material. There is a lot of material here - it can be re-used as a curtain, or perhaps you have other crafting needs for it. Whatever the case, there's plenty to work with!
PLEASE NOTE: We have one other smaller panel of this same material that we will be listing in separate listing. As with all of our listings, we are always happy to combine shipping on multiple purchases - just ask prior to check out - thank you!
Measurements: Approx. 14' 13" (5.03 yards) wide x 51" tall. It is constructed of 4 panels carefully sewn together at 45" intervals. There is a 5" hem running the span of the bottom, and each of the two sides has a 1" hem in place.
Condition: Overall the material is in very good condition. There are no rips, holes, tears, repairs, funky odors, dry rot, etc. There are creases and fold marks, and a few light scattered moisture marks. Overall, the colors appear to be nice throughout. The material has no lining on the reverse side. We have not attempted to clean or launder the material in any way - it is being presented for sale in the exact condition in which it was acquired - the moisture marks should come out with a gentle laundering. We do not know if the previous owners had pets, or if they were smokers. Based on our examination of the fabric, neither appears to be the case, but we cannot guarantee that for certain. It is being sold "as-is" - if you have questions, please ask them prior to purchase and we will respond back to you in a timely manner. Thanks for looking!
