Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a vintage ink drawing on paper by late artist, William "Bill" Mohr. Mr. Mohr worked as an advertising artist for the New York Times. This particular illustration done in ink depicts a cartoon-like person sawing themselves in half at the waist. The artwork is signed in the lower right-hand corner (see photo), and it is framed in a vintage gold colored wooden frame.
Measurements: Including the frame, approx. 12" wide x 14" tall. The visible artwork measures approx. 7.5" wide x 9.5" tall.
Condition: Good vintage condition, with minor signs of wear that are commensurate with age and handling. While the artwork has not been removed from the frame, there are no visible signs of rips, holes, tears, stains, repairs, etc. The wooden frame shows light signs of wear that are commensurate with age and handling. Overall displays very well. There is a jagged metal hanging tab on the reverse side of the frame. It is ready for display!
