Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a wonderful vintage abstract shapes / block art oil painting on paper by artist, David H. Gettens. It is titled "Composition 2" in pencil along the lower left-hand edge of the paper, and it is also signed / dated (1970) by the artist in pencil along the lower right-hand edge of the paper (see photos). The paint shows texture throughout. This is a wonderful piece of art that'll become the focal point in any modern interior setting!

Measurements: Including the frame, approx. 20.25" tall x 24.25" wide. The visible artwork alone, excluding the matting, measures approx. 12.75" tall x 17" wide.

Condition: Excellent condition - the artwork is free from having any problems - no rips, holes, tears, creases, stains, repairs, etc. The frame is structurally solid and in good condition - it only shows gentle traces of wear that are commensurate with age and handling. Displays very well. There is a wire hanging mechanism on the reverse side of the frame for hanging purposes. It's ready for a new home!
