Large Vintage Abstract Shapes Oil Painting Wall Hanging Mid Century Modern Art David Walters

Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a very large vintage abstract oil painting done on stretched canvas by St. Louis artist, David Walters. This painting, along with a few others that we will be listing, was an estate purchase. It is framed in a thin edge wood surround frame. The painting shows some signs of texture throughout (see photos). This particular piece is unsigned insofar as we've been able to detect, but it is definitely his work. A definite statement piece that will make a splash on any wall, and certainly a welcome addition to any modern interior setting!

Measurements: Including the thin edge wooden frame that borders the stretched canvas, it measures approx. 53.25" tall x 30.75" wide.

Condition: Very good condition. The canvas is free from rips, holes, tears, stains, repairs, etc. The paint shows some mild signs of crack marks that can be considered commensurate with age... they are completely stable and don't detract... solely being mentioned for accuracy (see photos). The frame has an old crack in it that looks like it was repaired at one point in time (see photo), and just some general signs of wear that can be considered commensurate with age and handling - nothing bad at all... it is structurally stable. There is a wire hanging mechanism on the reverse side of the painting for hanging. Being sold "as-is", so please feel free to ask questions. Ready to be displayed!
