Vintage 1980s Jere Abstract Sunburst Metal Brass Sculpture Modern Artisan Signed Mid Century

Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a beautiful abstract sunburst sculpture by Curtis Jeré. Circa '80s. Consists of fused brass rods the form an abstract circular sunburst. The brass rods have a spotted turquoise coloration (see photos). The sculpture rests atop a matte gray marble / stone base. This piece is signed and dated atop the round brass disc at the bottom of the sculpture: Copyright C. Jeré, 1987 (see photos).

Measurements: When attached to the round marble base, approx. 36" tall x 30.5" wide. The base alone measures approx. 6" tall x 6 in diameter.

Condition: Very good condition. The brass sculpture component appears to be free from having any issues - no breaks, bends, dings, repairs, rust, oxidation, etc. The rounded base that the sculpture sets into has a small amount of insignificant wear. There appears to be a small chip by the hole where the rod gets inserted into the base. It does not appear to affect anything, and it is completely covered up by the round brass disc at the base of the sculpture. We're solely mentioning this for accuracy. There are also a few light scratch marks along the top surface of the base. They don't particularly detract, but we are mentioning them for accuracy. Aside from that, the sculpture presents itself very well, and it will make a welcome addition to any modern interior setting.
