Item: For your consideration we are presenting for sale a very nice, shiny vintage 3-way chrome table lamp. Circa '70s. The lamp has three-way functionality: one twist of the on/off switch allows the largest, uppermost socket to light independently of the other three; a second twist turns off the largest and lights the lower three sockets, and a final twist lights all four sockets at once. The on/off rotary switch is located at the front edge of the base (see photos). We are uncertain as to the manufacturer of the lamp as there are no labels present.
Measurements: The lamp stands approx. 27" tall (measured from the bottom of the base to the top of the uppermost orb). Each of the orbs is set at staggering heights: 27", 17.5", 13.5", and 9.5" (each being measured from the bottom of the base to the rim of each orb). The round metal base is approx. 8.75" in diameter. The uppermost orb, which is also the largest orb, is approx. 6" wide x 6" deep, while the other three orbs are all the same size, each measuring approx. 4" wide x 4" deep.
Condition: Overall, we'd say the lamp is in very good condition for its age. It could use a gentle cleaning / polishing, but displays very nicely in its current state. The chrome shows some very minor surface imperfections here and there, but they should come out when polished and buffed. They are nothing major, but we wanted to mention them for accuracy (please view the photos accompanying the listing as they help to illustrate the nice condition of the lamp). The underside of the base needs a new piece of protective felt as the original felt that came with the lamp is long gone - a cheap and inexpensive fix that we'll leave up to the purchaser to handle. The electrical wiring is in good condition - no frays, splits, exposed wires, etc, and it looks to be original to the lamp. The lamp is in fully-functioning, working order. As with all vintage lighting, we always recommend having the wiring checked prior to long-term use. Being sold "as-is" - if you have questions, we do encourage you to ask them before purchasing as all sales are final. Please bid with confidence, and as always, thanks for viewing our listings here on Etsy.
